About Me

About Me

I grew up loving art for as long as I can remember. I still have my very first wide ruled school notebook that states “I want to be an artist when I grow up.” Every time I walked into an art classroom I was filled with excitement knowing I would be beaming with creativity by the end of the hour. It wasn’t until High School I realized art was more than a class in my curriculum and I spent most of my free time with charcoal pencil or paintbrush in hand (along with a paint splattered school uniform). Every brushstroke, freshly sharpened charcoal pencil, or click of a camera felt like magic.

Fast forward four years in the Art & Design program at the University of Michigan and I was faced with the unknown of art outside the classroom or beyond the blank canvas of my sketchbooks. Even with years of experience and talent, I was worried what my life would look like in the real world.

I ended up starting my entry level designer position in 2014 with IRONMAN, now The IRONMAN Group and I could not have asked for a better start in my career which has shaped the designer I am today. During my time there I had numerous managers, all of which had very different management tactics and design skills. Each one of them challenged me in the best way, whether it was by pushing me to never stop looking for ways to learn something new, even in areas I felt I had already mastered or setting the highest standard of accuracy with the way our team named and organized our files. I am so glad they pushed me because those are now some of my best attributes and ones that I will never stop doing in my professional or personal life. I was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer and worked at the IRONMAN Group for 8 years.

In 2021 I got the opportunity to be a designer on the marketing team for numerous Tampa companies, such as Armature Works, Three Oaks Hospitality, and MetroLagoons. I’ve expanded my responsibilities and creativity to new heights and have a whole new level of appreciation for working in an exciting and buzzing atmosphere. I love the local plug into Tampa’s community and the opportunities that this role brings!

I also have been expanding my freelancing career, most of my clients which I have made connections with through my roles over the years. Others just from word of mouth or through my community of friends and family! Each and every project has helped me fuel my creativity and I love to help others while doing what I love!
